Elemental card game

Asset pack

This set is composed of 35 cards which are 32x48 pixels with their back side and a simple playing board which is 304x272.

• 4 fire cards and their blank card
• 4 watercards and their blank card
• 4 plant cards and their blank card
• 4 fire and water cards and their blank card
• 4 water and plant cards and their blank card
• 4 fire and plant cards and their blank card
• 4 fire, water and plant cards and their blank card

I created those cards using only 4 letters words in order to limit myself and find interesting combinaison of the three elements.

Example of game rules

You may use them however you want but here is an example of rules that use these cards:

• It is a 1v1 card game that works like rock-paper-scissors
• Each player draws 5 cards and make them visible on the table
• (You can make sure that the combine power of each player are the same to make it fair)
• Each turn, players count to 3 and play a card at the same time, then they count the damages taken
• At the end of the 5 turns, the player that have taken the least amount of damage win
• The damage are counted like this: for each elemental damage inflicted by one player to the other, reduce the power by the number of the super effective element on the card of the other player. The damage can't be negative.
• Water is super effective against Fire which is super effective against Plant which is super effective against Water

For example

Player 1 plays RAIN that has a 2 in water and Player 2 plays COAL that has 1 in fire and 1 in plant.

Player 1 wants to inflict 2 water damage but this is reduced by 1 because Player 2 used a card that has a power of 1 in plant which is super effective against water. Player 2 takes 1 damage.

Player 2 wants to inflict 1 fire damage and 1 plant damage. The plant damage is effective and Player 1 takes 1 damage but the fire damage is reduced by 2 because of RAIN. As the damage can't be negative, Player 1 don't take any fire damage.

At the end of this turn each player took 1 damage.
